She went on to commit the exact same error, only worse, that she saw coming. And I'm like, great! Now she'll finally talk to him and begin untangling this stupid mess. At one point, Adeline even thinks to herself "I'm making the exact same mistake I made before, only this time I know how much Rock will hate it so it's even worse". Which undermines the whole concept of love, as far as I'm concerned. Worse, it's people not trusting the one they are in love with. The thing is, the entire conflict of this story is people not talking to each other. I gave up at about 85% when it just got to be too much. I'm not sure why I wanted it to be Stella Riley specifically, but my hopes died horrible deaths as the stupid multiplied as the story progressed. I really, really wanted to like this book because having a new author I like is like striking gold.
